What is BuzzTrans?
BuzzTrans is a small macOS app that explains unfamiliar AI and software terms in everyday language. Its floating card stays close to your work.
What can I use for free?
You can try 60 English terms on this website for free. The international Mac app is still in preparation. The current China release includes 224 Simplified Chinese terms.
What does the subscription include?
In the current mainland-China release, the monthly subscription adds AI explanations, help finding a term from a description, web verification, and importing or updating term packs. Request limits apply. International subscriptions are not available yet.
Does every lookup go online?
No. Built-in and imported terms are checked on your Mac. Online requests require an active subscription and your consent. Web verification starts only when you choose it.
Which Macs are supported?
BuzzTrans requires macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. The App Store version does not support Intel Macs.
